Privacy Policy

Who we are

Pentavis Infotainment LLC, doing business as Pentavis Entertainment (“Pentavis,” “we” or “us”), creates stories, comics and learning experiences. This policy applies to pentavis.com and to every website, email list, game, app and product we run under any of our brands, including:

• ByteTails (bytetailscomics.com)
• Force RPG 2020
• Pentavis Comics
• The Meowling
• Vymachi

If one of our brands or products works differently from what’s described here, we’ll say so on this page or in a notice in that product.

What we collect

Information you give us:

• Your email address and consent when you sign up for updates.
• Your name, email and message when you use a contact form or chat, or email us.

Information collected automatically:

• Standard technical details your browser sends, such as IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, which our web hosts keep in their logs.
• On sites that use them, cookies and similar tools described under Cookies and tracking.
• Email activity, such as whether one of our emails was delivered or opened, or a link in it was clicked.

You never need to give us information to read our free comics or stories.

How we use it

• To send the updates you asked for, such as news about a new comic.
• To answer your questions and messages.
• To understand which pages and stories people enjoy, and to improve our sites.
• To measure and improve our advertising, on sites where that’s listed below.
• To keep records of your consent and honor your choices, and to protect our sites from abuse.

Who we share it with

We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t give your email address to other companies for their own marketing. We use trusted service providers that handle information for us so they can provide their service:

• HubSpot keeps our contact and sign-up lists, sends our emails, and runs forms, chat and visit tracking on pentavis.com.
• Cloudflare hosts bytetailscomics.com and protects it from attacks.
• InMotion Hosting hosts pentavis.com.
• Directnic registers our domains and runs some of our mailboxes.
• Google Fonts supplies the lettering on some of our sites. Your browser downloads the font files from Google, which receives your IP address to deliver them. Google Fonts doesn’t set cookies or track you on our sites.
• Meta (Facebook) and YouTube, only on sites where they’re listed under Cookies and tracking.

We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect people or our rights, or with a new owner if a Pentavis brand is ever sold, under this same policy.

Cookies and tracking

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Here’s what each of our sites uses:

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If we add tracking tools to any site, we’ll update this list first.

Kids and privacy

Many of our stories are made for families to enjoy together, but our sign-ups, contact forms and chat are for grown-ups (18 or older) only. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children. If you think a child has shared their information with us, contact us and we’ll delete it.

Your choices and rights

• Unsubscribe with the link at the bottom of any of our emails.
• See, correct or delete the information we hold about you by emailing info@pentavis.com. We’ll respond within 30 days.
• Turn off cookies with a site’s cookie banner or your browser settings.

Depending on where you live, you may have more privacy rights under local law. We honor these requests for everyone, wherever you live.

How long we keep it

We keep your information only as long as we need it for the reasons above. Email addresses stay on our lists until you unsubscribe; after that we keep only what we need so you aren’t emailed again. If you ask us to delete your information, we will, unless the law requires us to keep it.

Keeping it safe

Cyber safety is part of what we do. Our sites use secure (HTTPS) connections, the account that holds our contact lists is protected with a strong password and two-step sign-in, and only the people who run Pentavis can reach our contact lists. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to protect what you share.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version here and update the date at the top. If the change is a big one, we’ll tell subscribers by email.
